I am a third generation fire fighter. I grew up around the fire station. My mother and grandmother would take me to the big fires in the area and they would bring food and coffee for the fire fighters. The biggest reward in the job is seeing the relief in the eyes of the victims and their families when we roll up on a serious call. They know we will take over and take good care of their loved ones.
